Oswalt on the Move

Philadelphia Phillies acquire Roy Oswalt in exchange for JA Happ and some younger prospects.

Man.. I was really hoping the Phils would not bolster their team ever again


That would be a tough playoff matchup with him following up Halladay...

Obviously makes their trading Cliff Lee last offseason out to be a clear mistake on their part since Oswalt costs more and is less of a pitcher at this point than Lee.

Yeah I agree but last year they had Lee and Hamels this year the Have Hamels, Oswalt and Halladay

Lee was a huge mistake but they kind of covered it up here. They still would have Lee, Holliday and Hamels had they kept Lee

That was a pretty steep price for Oswalt, JA Happ was considered untradeable
