Most scoring systems/leagues I went back and looked at he was ranked anywhere from 12 to 15. I'm not saying he was good all season, but he put up solid numbers and should only get better with experience and Boldin to throw the ball to.
Standard scoring he was QB17 I dont know what leagues you're playing in where he finished QB11

I actually didn't play in a league where he was 11...but a guy I work with did and I just finished looking at the QB ranks in that league from last season.

I had him in a league last year but I also had Schaub so Flacco was a nice play when Schaub was on bye and thought I would need him a couple more weeks since Schaub had an injury history (finally played a full season though).

Anyway...in that league that I had him as my QB2 he finished 15 which was the lowest I had seen in the leagues I looked back at. He was 10 points shy of finishing 13 in that league which would have put him right behind Eli.

Yes I think it does matter because when else are they going to pass? The blowout against NE? Nope Flacco had a whopping 34 yds passing. My question to you is why wouldnt it matter? If you cant count on him wouldnt you become a run first run second pass if you have to team like the Ravens have done?

What have you seen with your eye balls that suggests Flacco is an elite QB?

My point with clutch decisions (you're pointing to an entire bad game, not necessarily a clutch situation or particular bad decision) is that if a guy throws for 250 yards and a TD or two through most of the game...I don't care if he looks like a jackass in the last 3 minutes, as I've already got points out of the QB.

As for suggesting that he's elite...well...I don't believe I ever said, "Hey stop ragging on Flacco, he's an elite QB." I said he's not that bad and could get better and POTENTIALLY be a sleeper top 10 guy this season.

They have a great running game, which opens up the passing game. They have a great offensive line. They have added a legit threat for him to throw to in Boldin. Without Boldin he had a solid year of 3,600+ yards and 21 TD. I'm saying with his continued development as a QB and that addition, I could see those numbers get better.

As it stood last season, He was 11th in Comp. % (which is pretty good - and something you keep pointing to as a problem for him). He was 13th in QB Rating (only about 4 points behind the likes of McNabb, Warner, and Eli). He was tied for 9th in TD passes (a lot of guys lumped in there...but he was one TD pass behind McNabb and Matt Ryan). And he threw less INT's than Tom Brady, Warner, Ryan, Eli, Peyton, and Schaub.

I don't see why he can't be a candidate to have a "breakout" season and see a slight spike in numbers....I wouldn't be surprised if he put up the same type of numbers, but I also wouldn't be surprised to see him go for 3,900 yards and add a few more TD's to last seasons total.

    That's all I'm saying.

What do you guys think of these guys now. Sucks Stafford is hurt because he would be the #1 if healthy, Im not a doctor so I dont know where Id move him down to if at all. I like him enough I traded Matt Ryan for Ricky Williams and Matt Stafford. Stafford looks like a great buy low now as the injury doesnt appear to be serious and worth the risk of getting a young stud QB. Im getting nervous about Ryan's lack of arm strength, the Pittsburgh game its really surprising how someone so big can have such a weak arm. He rebounded against the Cardinals today didnt see how he looked but he just doesnt seem to have the arm strength to be that stud QB and doesnt handle the pass rush very well to be anything more than a situational starter at best. Flacco and Henne are still in a dead heat for last. Bradford has been looking impressive, both he and Freeman have joined that first tier imo. What are your guys' thoughts?

    Any thoughts?

Well that game from Flacco was flat out horrible. It's one game...I'll reserve judgment for now. But if he totally falls apart that is an enormous step backwards for him after last season (especially with the weapons he has now).

Freeman is looking like I always knew he would, hope it continues, I own him and Flacco in one league, didn't think I would be starting Freeman week 2 lol

Yeah I hope Freeman keeps it up...big fan...he's a local kid, saw him play a little in high school. Good kid and I think could be a very good QB for a long time.
