I just dont like Flacco's upside I think he'll be a decent QB2, which is a type of QB you can get without much effort, I think Im most concerned with ceiling and tools when I look at QBs, because if you dont crack the top 10-12 you're irrelevant. I dont see why this is so surprising not like he bullied the league over last year.

But you ranked Dirty above him

Well I am not taking any of those guys except Flacco for this coming Fantasy season though except for Flacco. I do not even put Bradford in the draftable category (even though I have done this) in a dynasty league without taxi squads. The receiving corps and team around him are just plain horrible
Anyone want to start another league next year? PM Me if interested.

Damn I ment to say I was talking about dynasty, isnt that what most of us almost exclusively play? If you're looking at any of these guys in redraft lol.

I like his current situation a little but more, not much more but a little bit. I think New York will pass the ball more then Baltimore. These two situations are almost exact though.

They're horrible, but they teams can improve quickly. They have Avery and Steven Jackson Justin Smith looks like a bust but you never know, he could do well and they find some decent olinemen and add another WR, or the ones they have stay healthy for once.

To many "or" and ifs in that statement for me to look that deep into a fantasy situation. Trust me Bradford is the goods just landed in a way wrong spot.

Seems like all of us have quite a few disagreements on where we like these guys. Im gonna talk about a few of the guys:

    Situation and everything considered

    No brainers:

    1. Stafford- Looks like a future stud willing to force it in when his team is losing to try and will the team to win and loved his heroics against Cleveland last year. An arm to drool over and a natural at QB

    2. Ryan- Alarming how bad he handled pass rush last year and took a step back, I think he may develop into one of these QBs that just dont quite make it to elite level like a Hasselbeck.

    3. Sanchez- Like his skill set, for me the Stafford/Sanchez debate was a close call but I liked Stafford better and still do, his situation make him a safer bet than Stafford I would take him ahead of Stafford if I wanted to be safe.

    bad situation- Stash for later?

    4. Freeman- Seems like a guy who will take a long time to reach his full potential as TB is just god awful and have idiots running the front office who signed Michael Clayton to a huge contract. The oline is horrible and two rookie WRs. Still though I think he's the QB to target his talent is very close to Staffords has a little bit better arm, more size and runs like a deer. Handles pressure extremely well, which is rare for someone who's what 21?

    5. Bradford- Quick release, pin point accuracy Peyton Manningish skills imo.

    Bust?

    6. Flacco- Mind numbing bad decisions in clutch situations and his accuracy isnt the greatest either, plus his stats since Ray Rice took over are horrible. If you're not concerned about his second half stats + especially the playoffs theres something wrong with you.

    7. Henne- I just have a hard time getting excited about Henne seems like a Kerry Collins type QB, hated him at Michigan and have warmed up a little to him but not overly optimistic about him. Im thinking of putting him ahead of Flacco because I know who Flacco is, and I dont like it and may roll the dice on Henne.

I believe he is the goods as well. His arm isnt as strong as Stafford's or Freeman's but neither was Manning's.

I don't understand why you'd hate on Flacco, Norris....he was solid in his rookie season (not great by any means) and got much better in year 2.

    2008: 60% comp., 2971 yards, 185.7 YPG, 14 TD, 12 INT, 80.3 QB Rating

    2009: 63 % comp., 3613 yards, 225.8 YPG, 21 TD, 12 INT, 88.9 QB Rating

You point to his decision making in clutch situations....but does that really matter in fantasy football? What matters are the overall numbers, and his spiked last season. He's on a great team and heading into this season they added a new toy for him in Boldin. I don't see him doing any worse, and honestly he'll probably be a little better this year than he was last year.

I think by year end, he was a QB1 (probably right around the #12 QB in fantasy) in most standard leagues and I think he could move up into the top 8 this year.

I think Flacco has a long way to go in terms of 1. Accuracy 2. decision making and 3. Solving a defense mentally.

His stats are hardly impressive and he wasnt QB1 at the end of the year he was QB18 and collapsed towards the end of the year. Look at his stats again. Josh Freeman outscored him from week8 on with 1 less game and Ryan was right on his tail despite missing 3 games and Henne outscored him too.

I didn't say he was QB1 in ranking...just that he was probably starting for a lot of teams - he was A QB1...not THE QB1. As in...if you had him, he could very well be a QB1 on your team any given week.

Most scoring systems/leagues I went back and looked at he was ranked anywhere from 12 to 15. I'm not saying he was good all season, but he put up solid numbers and should only get better with experience and Boldin to throw the ball to.
