2010 NFL Draft Combine

How many people follow this thing? And now I dont mean watch some highlights on ESPN or read an article every other day. I am talking about people that sit down and actually watch this on TV?

Taylor Mays just ran a 4.24 40. That's freak fast rite there. Eric Berry had a 34 inch vertical. Some serious freaks at the safety spot this year

Yeah but Taylor Mays would use that speed to run over refs thinking they were the opponent. That guy has the tools but seems confused a lot of the time.

Plus Joe Haden CB Florida ran like a 4.57 in the 40 today. Wonder if that will drop his draft stock.

hugh? not sure what you mean, he's a hitter man, Ive seen him bust some heads and he's the fastest guy in the draft

I know he is the fastest guy in the draft but the guy is not smart football wise. He over runs plays, is out of position on things etc. Thats why you dont see him going in the first on a lot of drafts.

I mean sure he might have some things to work on but he's a safety, no to many safeties go in the first round unless they're VERY special. I think he's going to be a good player myself. All I'm saying is he is a unique safety prospect who is more adept at covering receivers than at assisting the run (we can both agree lol). The athleticism is there and he if puts out the work, Mays could start early in his NFL career and be making an immediate impact. At one point he was a projected top five pick, USC sucking balls all season and a less then perfect Senior Bowl hurt him some but he seems to be doing things rite now. Time will tell but I would take him in a heart beat at any point past the 15th pick myself.
