With pick #14 of the first round the Seattle Seahawks select:

    C. J. SPILLER, RB CLEMSON

Offensively the Seahawks had a very subpar 2009, and a top level play maker like Spiller would fit in nicely. I think Pete Carroll will be evaluating all aspects of this team and considering we are not totally sure what they have in Justin Forsett, Spiller provides Seattle with a "take it to the house" talent. He has tremendous speed and is stellar in the return game as well. It remains to be seen if he can handle the physicality of the NFL, and it is possible he might not be an every down NFL RB(a la Reggie Bush) but at this point in the draft to get the #1 rated RB on the board is great.

Should the Seahawks go defense with this pick, I would look for Carroll to target one of his most recent USC RBs later in the draft, Joe McKnight or Stafon Johnson.

With the 15th Pick in the NFL draft the New York Giants select LB Sergio Kindle of Texas.

With a much needed presence on the defensive side of the ball the Giants look at the LB'er position a big weakness for them. Kindle should be able to step right in and start.

Since JC would probably want the 49ers pick I will not screw up the rotation.

The Tennesse Titans select Jason Pierre-Paul DE South Florida

The Titans need defensive line help and I think more of a middle presence but with what is here I dont see that happening. Derrick Morgan is moving up quickly draft wise but I think Paul is a better all around player then Morgan and can make an impact right away.

With the 16th pick in the NFL Draft the 49ers select:

    Anthony Davis | T | Rutgers

The 49ers will be lucky if a guy of Davis' caliber falls to them at 16. Davis is not the brightest of kids as he scored an 890 on his SAT and we will probably see a low Wonderlic score. However, on the football field Davis is very advanced. He has excellent footwork and the speed and power to match up on the pass and the run. The 49ers undoubtedly need help on their O-Line and he would be a nice fit on the right side of the line.

The Pittsburgh Steelers select Taylor Mays, S, USC

The Steelers struggled with Troy Polamalu out of the line-up most of last year and Ryan Clark is set to become a free agent. Mays was a 4 year starter for the Trojans. He has outstanding size/speed (think linebacker who runs like a corner) and is a big hitter who can deliver a knockout punch.

19th Pick, Atlanta Falcons select Carlos Dunlap DE Florida

They need OLB help and DE help and the other OLB's just do not strik me as being worth investing this pick into selecting, so the Falcons go with Carlos Dunlap DE Florida, who has fallen to this point in the draft in large part due to his being found passed out drunk at a red light, behind the wheel of his car early one morning prior to the SEC Championship game. The Falcons seem to have the locker room environment to get the most out of Dunlap and keep him on the field, where he will excel.

With the 20th pick in the NFL Draft the Texans select:

Kyle Wilson | DB | Boise State

Wilson, the probable #2 DB in the draft behind Haden was impressive at the Senior Bowl blanketing receivers. The Texans were impressive with their offense this year and Gary Kubiak knows the defensive side needs help. Kyle Wilson will provide some defensive stability at the DB spot.

At pick #21, the Cincinnati Bengals select: DT Brian Price, UCLA

Price was one of the first juniors to declare early for the NFL draft and has subsequently continued to jump up most draft boards. He has plenty of upside and is an aggresive runner defender. The Bengals have seemingly become a run first team on offense and the defense was stout in 2009. Many drafts have them going offense here, but I think the WRs available are plentiful and to go TE here means they would be reaching for a player or hoping Greisham is healthy, to me that is too risky. Tank Johnson is a free agent so DT is a need, and should DE Antwaan Odom return from injury, Price would be that much more effective. I would also not be suprised here if the Bengals went with an OG considering the age and contract situation with Bobbie Williams.

The New England Patriots select Tim Tebow - QB/WR/TE/HBack

He could be a reach but Billy boy always goes out on limbs with his selections and I am sure the hoodie could figure out 4 million ways to use this kid. Would be a smart move.
