Thread: The Michael Vick Files

  1. Falcons The Michael Vick Files

Lawyers for former NFL quarterback Michael Vick are returning to court in Virginia.

They're asking the Surry County Circuit Court to allow Vick to enter his guilty plea on state dogfighting charges via two-way video conference from the federal penitentiary in Leavenworth, Kan.

A hearing on the issue is set for Thursday in Sussex County, where Surry cases are being heard while a new courthouse is being built.

Vick is serving a 23-month prison term after pleading guilty to a federal dogfighting conspiracy.

According to court papers, he would be eligible to transfer to a halfway house for the final six months of his term if he resolve the state dogfighting and animal cruelty charges.

well played court system...Criminals should not be allowed exceptions no matter their status or situation. As a federal prisoner they become property of the state and should be treated as such.

As part of the proceedings they should tie afew steaks to him and lock him in a pen with some pit bulls

  6. Angry The Dog Killer Wants Back in

Have read numerous stories that the Dog Killer Mike Vick wants to come back to the NFL. Does he just waltz back in like nothing happened? Or does the NFL suspend him?

Just find it hard to believe that they just let him walk right back on to the field and say hey nice to see you back.

I really hope he has nothing to do with the NFL ever again. I hope a 4 game suspension is laughed at and he gets a year minimum.
