New England Patriots QB Tom Brady was spotted on the practice field today throwing passes to a receiver. Brady did not appear to be wearing anything on either foot, according to Young. In other news, WR Kelley Washington, CB Jonathan Wilhite, CB Lewis Sanders, RB LaMont Jordan, S Rodney Harrison and LB Adalius Thomas were back on the field.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP)—Tom Brady says he’ll be ready for the New England Patriots opener even if a foot injury keeps him from taking a single snap in exhibition games.
Last season’s NFL MVP sat out the first three games and plans to tell coach Bill Belichick he’s “feeling great” in hopes of playing in Thursday night’s final exhibition game at the New York Giants, the team that ruined the Patriots’ unbeaten season by beating them in the Super Bowl.
“I’m hoping I’m always out there,” Brady said Monday on his regular weekly appearance on WEEI radio, “and if I don’t play, I’ll be ready for Kansas City.”
The Patriots open the regular season at home against the Chiefs.

cautious...hmmm, I was thinking of "sneaky" but that is just me. The way the Bill manipulates the pup and IR lists I could see each player being given a boot with their equipment packages......

I didn't have any doubts Brady would be ready to start the season. His "foot" injury sounds like the same "shoulder" injury that has made him Probable for every game since 06
