Fantasy Impact:
Should be an improvement, however minimal, over the current situation for the Redskins at QB, if nothing else for the potetnial support for the young QB and consistency in the offensive staff and system. Two things Jason Campbell never enjoyed in his time with the ‘Skins. Plus, Notre Dame has to have a QB succeed in the pros at some time this millenium, right?

5. Washington Redskins | Jimmy Clausen, QB, Notre Dame
There are bigger fish to fry for the ‘Skins at this point in time than replacing their QB, but they will take a new QB especially with Jimmy Clausen still available for them at this point.
Jason Campbell QB will land somewhere, I mean he is a solid QB, that was hurt by an extreme lack of continuity in the offensive systems that he played in, which actually dates to his time at Auburn. Regardless, there will be an entirely new cast of characters in WAS come next season and that includes a new QB to build the new Redskins around.

Why this QB is overrated ~ Jason Hobbs
There is a clear myth to the QB at Notre Dame and their draft prospects, I mean name ones since Montana? Yet every single one of them is the second coming of Christ himself and the beat goes on with the latest QB from Notre Dame to toss his hat into the proverbial ring with the 2010 NFL Draft. Brady Quinn has not been good during his time with the Brownies. Now in fairness he has gotten a quick hook here and there and never had the greatest of coaching either. Still, Clausen is going to fail and so will all the fantasy football managers that want to take a flier on him. In a league with unmoronic managers you will want to grab Bradford and saddle your competition with the Notre Dame QB.

When I get a load of this hunk of man flesh there is just one thing that comes to my mind and it don’t involve noone but me, Jimmy, and Brady with nothing but “quality time” on the horizon. As for the draft, I sure will pray every night when Mommie tucks me into bed that poor Jimmy will not suffer the same fate as Brady and have to wait around in the green room for too long. Amen.

Released 1/05/10 that Jimmy Clausen will be undergoing surgery for his injured toe. Looks like they gave the toe time to heal but in the end decided to get the surgery done as Clausen looks to throw for NFL teams at the Notre Dame Pro-Day in April.
