Second interview of the Mock draft season will be with Matt Falk of DraftSeason.com. I am sure if you have a question for Matt he would be happy to answer it for you.

Thanks for taking the time to do this for us give us a little background of DraftSeason.com, How long have you been doing this for?
Well myself and fellow DraftSeason.com partners Nik Edlund and Eric Falk have been on the web and up as DraftSeason.com since 2001. We have really grown from a 3 or 4 page website into what you see today. We strive on having unique opinions on topics surrounding the NFL Draft and of course throw in our player rankings, player interview, articles etc. We update the website on a hourly basis to make sure our fans are getting the most up to date info we can provide.

Is this a full time job for the three of you or is it something you do on the side?

We all have day jobs but spend many, many hours a week on DraftSeason.com

How did you get started in evaluating NCAA players for the NFL draft?
I think I started out like a lot of people did, as a die hard fan college and pro football fan. When the opportunity came to put together a site and to start really going into the specifics of each player and team it was a natural fit.

How many mock drafts a year does DraftSeason produce?

That’s a tough one to answer.. I would say once the college season is over and the players have declared we each update our mocks almost weekly. Before that it’s random. We try to start a few right when the NFL season starts and then update throughout the year.

What is the ultimate goal for the future?
I think like a lot of guys out there with sites it would be to become one of the top resources on the web for the NFL Draft. We really just want to keep entertaining draft gurus with our draft info. We really enjoy what we do and look to keep doing it for years to come.

One of the key questions that I always have is what are the top things a mock draft should cover?
In my mind a mock draft should cover the quality of player, specific team needs, the sleeper that nobody talks about and gets drafted in round 1 and some entertainment. You can go on the web and look at 100’s of different mock drafts if you want but it’s nice to add some controversy and entertainment to a mock to keep the readers on their toes and keep them coming back.

Lets get a little less technical for the audience
